Wondering how to get to Limerick?

By plane

Shannon Airport (SNN) is the closest airport to the University of Limerick, about 1 hour away in neighbouring Co. Clare. Connecting or direct flights from the UK in particular will be convenient.

Dublin Airport (DUB) is Ireland's main airport and boasts direct flights to a wide variety of locations. You can get a bus (2.5 hours) from Dublin Airport direct to the UL campus.

Cork (ORK) and Ireland West Knock (KOC) do not have direct connections to UL at this time.

Public Transport

Travelling to UL from within Ireland is fairly straightforward. Trains from Dublin, Cork and Galway go to Limerick (Colbert) Station, roughly 5km from the University. Don't end your journey at Limerick Junction, which is far away and is literally a junction on the way to Limerick.

Bus services are operated by Bus Éireann, Dublin Coach and other private providers.

FIELD LOCATION

University of Limerick, Castletroy, Co. Limerick
